Bathroom Water Pump Switch stays on

31XL. Bathroom water pump switch glows red (dimly). Not affected by front switch. Does not turn off the pump. Any ideas???

Sounds like you might have a bad switch or the switch near your outdoor shower is in the on position

Tpratt82687,
Thanks for the suggestion. My water pump switch in the toilet was also constantly on. I looked in the outdoor shower area and sure enough it was on. I switched it off and the one in the toilet area was off. GREAT

If you turned the "pump" switch on at another source, you have to turn it off at the original point.

When you close the outdoor shower cover the shower head tubing has to be wrapped around the water control knobs. That puts the tubes right over the switch and potentially flips the switch to the on position.

You seem to be saying that if a switch is on in one place, then you can turn it off at the control panel by the entry door. That did not work for me. I had to trace down the switch that had last turned the water pump on. That was in the outdoor shower area. Am I missing something in this posting?

I'm a newbie...just noticed on my Greyhawk that the red light pump switch outside and in bathroom were on and would not turn off until I turned off the pump switch at the main control panel...
