Batteries - Carbon Foam AGM

This video was posted on a FB battery tech group I follow. Caterpillar's carbon foam R&D technology sold by Firefly in IL. Low self discharge and excellent recovery from sustained low state-of-charge may make them suitable candidates for chassis battery replacements. I'm still a fan (and owner) of the Battle Born lithium (LFP) replacement batteries for coach (house) and solar use, but those are not suitable (or warrantied) as chassis batteries.

They seem to be available through marine dealers, with the dealer near me selling the group 31 product for $512.

Edit: I just saw in the video comments that this battery IS NOT recommend as a starter battery. Hmmm, I thought this was the whole point of AGM.
