Battery cable Gauge

Howdy,
Is 2 gauge SGT wire OK to use for battery cables on my RV ?
I would like to install (2) 6 Volt AGM Batteries in series on my 2017 Redhawk RV.
I’m about to make up some cables. Is 2 / 3/8” ring terminals correct ?
Should I Crimp or Crimp AND Solder?

That's the size I used on second AGM for my Greyhawk. I would definitely recommend solder. No need to crimp if you solder.
