Battery Disconnect Relay Solenoid 2008 Melbour

I am helping a friend with a 2008 Melbourne 29D. His battery disconnect switch froze and he replaced it with a new switch. The old switch appears to be a SPST momentary switch which is now always open. The parts guy gave him a SPST always on or always off switch. The coach is receiving power from the battery since the relay is always on no matter which position the new switch is in.

The relay had both fuses blown and the main contacts are always closed no matter which way I apply power to the small poles. I will get a new relay Monday (KIB LR9806F) and would like to check out new momentary switch and the relay off the coach. Any suggestions? Incidentally the old relay is a KIB LR9806 and the old switch is a Sigma LR20985.
