Ao you replaced the one house group 27 with this Windy Nation battery and works much better???? I really just want a simple solution for better battery time and sounds like this might be it, we just bought a 2018 29xk and trying to figure out what to do right away with the limited battery slide out tray?

Alright, i have decided to exchange my interstate marine/rv 12v for a new trojan T1275 12v 150ah golf cart battery. I am going to remove the single slide out battery tray, weld tray panels together and remove rivets and the trojan battery will fit right in same place perfect with at least 1-1/2 battery time, and figure once we get solar installed will work just fine for us, don’t need that much more battery run time, just couple more hours even would be fine.

Here is what i did today. Took out the interstate group 27 battery, took it in and exchanged for the Trojan T1275. Took out two rear battery tray rivets and welded rear two corners together, and ground down rest of rivets some. Had to install new battery in tray and reinstall tray with new battery after modifications, would not fit into tray just slid out, new battery too tall but once in it just fits. Also have to connect negative terminal and slide part way in to attach positive terminals otherwise cables stretched accross top of battery and not enough clearance above battery, like i was saying it just barely fits.
