I found some acorn debris and other junk in the air filter housing and some 'modifications' to my engine's air filter element.....

Years ago our VW Rabbit would not start.. Before calling a tow truck we took apart the air filter and cleaner housing.. It was packed with acorns..
Imagine how embarrassed we would have been if the car had been towed to the repair shop!
The little varmints packed in acorns in every hose they could get to.
