Dave, here is a link showing where ours is located on our 2016 37FS. https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...ion-46079.html Also you will find a Schwintek trouble shooting guide.

good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Thanks Ed. I had looked at that post and found the controller. The code it is giving is a short in motor 2. Two green flashes followed by8 red flashes. At a loss at this moment.

Last problem I had on my br slide was a small connector at the inside on the bottom of the slide got wrapped in something and unplugged itself.

It may be a simple fix if you can access it.

Schwintek User/Troubleshoot Manual

See attached, starting on page 11 - error codes (if you can get to your controller and how to disengage motors). It's unforgivable where Jayco placed the controller - under your bed which cannot be lifted unless the slide is out. Your scenario is the very reason I modified my controllers so I can access them thru a service panel from the outside bed frame. Good luck and please let us know how it turns out.

Good Schwintek Video

Explains how to read controller codes, how to override controller and how to manually retract slide by disengaging motors.
