Beeping sound

Beeping sound when truck engine is off and generator is off. Sounds like the sound is coming from the carbon monoxide detector.

Not much info to go on here. When my propane/carbon monoxide detector went off it was very evident when you were inside the coach. It also had a blinking light on it.

Depending on your coach, there are a number of things that can beep. Here is a list of things that have beeped in mine. All were easy to locate.

Propane/carbon monoxide detector
Smoke detector
Fridge (when on gas and no flame would start)
Tankless water heater control (when started but air in gas line)
Microwave when food was done

Just "use the force" to locate the beeping sound.

I also have a random beeping that is the same tone as when you push a button on the control panel for the inverter. I have emailed Magnum about this and told them about the random beep with no errors showing up and they told me to disable the alarm setting which I did and it still beeps. It only happens when the genny s running or the solar system is turned on but it will happen randomly day or night.

Since you don't state how old your unit is, these CO/Propane detection units basically have a 5 year life span. You can get a replacement on Amazon and install is easy.
