Black Tank Fell out

I have a 2010 Seneca 37FK and we noticed a persistent sewer smell. I removed the panel covering the black tank compartment and found that the right rear corner of the black tank fell out of the mount and dropped down. It looks like the vent pipe and toilet connection have partially disconnected.
Has this happened to anyone else and if so how did you access the vent pipe to reconnect it. I assume that removing the toilet I will be able to access the connection to the tank when I lift the tank back onto the mount. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully someone on here will be able to address this. That sounds like a real pain to deal with. Best wishes on a easy and simple repair.

I had a 2008 and belong to a forum that has many of the KODIAK SENECAS and you are the first person to ever mention that issue. In order to access the vent you will probably have to remove the paneling on the wall behind the toilet. That is where our vent stack was. With that said the vent may not have disconnected. Remove the cap on the roof and see if the pipe is visible, if not, it dropped down with the tank. All you may have to do is reconnect the toilet connection.

that is what I suspected about access through the wall. I have a bore scope with a 10' cord I will run in there tomorrow to see what exactly is going on. Thanks for the info.
