Black tank handle half works

Greyhawk 2005, The blank tank dump handle only comes out about half way. Still dumps but would like it to go all the way out. I don't know why. Seems like a good idea. Any ideas or suggestions?
TIA

Mine kind of sticks sometimes. I usually have to work it open and closed a few times to get it opened up all the way. Seems like the seal is sticking in the valve housing to me.

A little lube on the slider valve shaft generally solves this problem. Pull the valve open as far as you can, lube the shaft and work it open and closed a few times. Should help.

I had to disassemble mine and found that some of the plastic which was left over as they cut the holes was stuck in the valve seat. Fortunately this happened after dumping the tank.

I took out the old and put in the new. Found to be a simple job.
