Black Tank Smell When On The Road

We have a 2018 Jayco Redhawk 26XD and we love it. However, when we are driving, the smell of the black tank is overwhelming. Doesn't matter if we just pumped out or the tank is partially full. I use Pure Power Blue in the tank as directed which seems to work well when parked. Any advice?

Replace seal between commode and floor, I was told to not reuse. Put an inch of water in bowel while traveling. The vent on the roof is putting positive pressure on the tank. See if that helps , you may need a directional vent.

Bathroom vanity probably empties into black tank. Place rubber stopper in same while travelling.

We had the same issue with our Grayhawk 29MV.
I installed one of the weather vane type vent covers on the tank vent, and installed a cover over the bathroom vent cover so it can remain open a little bit while traveling.
We will see how that works on our next trip later this month.

I'm interested to read your account of this. I have a Camco Cyclone on the way in hopes that I can better vent the stinky smell...

I just finished a trip to Dallas and back to go to our dealer for some pre-warranty diagnosis.
No smell from the black tank this trip.

I think it is fixed.
