Bought a 2020 Seneca 37K today... :)

Today was a big day... Title says it all... So much to learn on this coach but we're super excited. Going to have tons of questions but there are some really good posts here that will help answer some of them...

Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks! Anyone here know off hand if the 37K has a hot water heater bypass by chance? As soon as we take delivery I'll read the entire manual... We're having the factory sofa swapped out for one that has massage/heat as that was my wife's fav thing about the 5th wheel we looked at so we had to have it in the Seneca...

Thanks,
Jeff

Congrats they are great rigs.

If the plumbing is the same as the 2018 they have a bypass but it is not a true bypass. When you turn the valve it stops the supply to the heater but still provides water to the hot water side of the unit. So if you drain the unit out and leave it open the water will enter the unit from the hot side. This could be solved by installing a check valve. I installed ball valves on each side of the unit so I can shut it off and drain it quickly in the very cold weather.

Congrats. Welcome to the club. Be forewarned, you will be very popular where ever you go. We field questions at the gas pumps, campgrounds, even red lights. Oh yea, ready yourself for compliments too! You will standout and rarely see another Seneca or Super C..

Congrats!

You will love it....bought our 37k last September and it has been an awesome RV....no major issues so far, 4000 miles on it now...some minor things that I adjusted myself vs. a trip to the dealer for things I could do...post some pics
