broken entry door lock

Hello All,
The side entry door lock and deadbolt appears to have broken on our 2008 Jayco Seneca. The latch will not move in or out. I took the 3 screws out from the inside and split open the case. The plastic part that actuates the latch does nothing. I used a pliers and can move the latch to open. I got online and found what looks like the replacement lock on Amazon for $101.00. Is this the way to go? Has anyone replaced this type of lock?
Thanks, Capt. Rich

We replaced our factory installed lock two years with an upgraded one that includes a paddle lock as well as the deadbolt lock and doesn't require a key after locking it to close the door and leave;

Does your replacement lock have a deadbolt? Did it fit the opening for the TriMark? I read the reviews for the TriMark on Amazon and they range from a fantastic heavy duty lock to a piece of dog crap that breaks at the same part as where mine broke.

Ours does have the deadbolt. No modifications were necessary for installation.
