Has anyone ever tried "Bugs B Gone" by the Seafoam people? They make a similar product that comes as a concentrate that you mix for cleaning. Just curious.

Just to clarify what Twin Hauler says....I used Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) for years on my Goldwings. I also used it as a swimming pool oxidizer. The big difference is the store bought peroxide is something like a 5% solution. The pure stuff (also used as an oxidizer for some rocket engines) is something like 50-70% is highly corrosive to bio matter (which is why it work on bugs and in swimming pools in place of Chlorine). Do not try to use the commercial/pool grade stuff as a) a drop on your arm, hand, face etc will result in immediate chemical burns. The fumes are highly noxious also. If dropped on concrete it will react with the calcium/lime in the concrete and sizzle and pop like crazy.

I used the OTC solution and did not even dilute it as at the 5% range it is safe and effective. Along those lines, though, I also found that a wet towel left to soak on the bugs for a few minutes will allow them to be wiped off in most cases.

I’ve tried the spray bottle version, not the concentrate. It worked ok but not that great. I have just tried the new product from Stoner that looks like dryer sheets. You add a little water and wipe away the bugs. It really works well.

.
Right. Thanks for the clarification.
I am referring to the topical solution, which I believe is usually 3%.

Well I’m sold on Bugs N’ All. Tried it on a mirror that was covered while in 90-100 degree weather coming home. Then it went right into the shop so ther were on about 2 weeks. Sprayed it on, waited about 90 seconds and they wiped right off with no gut residue that I can usually still see after scrubbing with sop and water.
