Bully Dog Medium Duty GT 46502 Programer

Hi All, I have a 2012 Seneca 37RB, overall quite satisfied. Just returned from a 3000 mile trip towing and had Zero problems! In a perfect world I would like a little more mid range get up and go. Has anyone tried one of these tuners? Thoughts? Potential problems?
Thanks,
Randy

Other than warranty, the potential issue that concerns me is the torque limit of the 2500 Allison. I have heard from others and reviewed Allison's posted ratings for our transmission and it seems we are very close to the torque limit with our Cummins in stock form. Boost the power and I wonder if the transmission will suffer long-term.

As a matter of fact there are rumors that Jayco may use the Freightliner S2RV chassis in the near future, which is basically an M2 that can be better tailored for an RV or other specialized applications. And one engine choice available in that S2RV chassis, while still a 6.7 ISB, it is up-rated to 360 horsepower and 800 lb/ft of torque. But with that engine choice they also upgrade the transmission to a 3000-series Allison.

Maybe it is all about keeping warranty claims to a minimum, but it would be nice to hear whether anyone has tried it, successfully or not!

I have had the Alison, duramax,Bullydog combo on my TV for 10 years now. I would not tow without it.. Just don't put it in the "Crazy Larry" mode

Another potential issue of personal concern of "up-tuning" with a programmer is cooling capacity. I know, last year towing in Kentucky with full provisions and 9,000# towed I was really working the cooling system in 100°F weather with high humidity.
