Cabinet Drawers opening during transit

Hello all,

I have a 2018 Greyhawk 30XP and I've notice during transit that a couple of the drawers near the kitchen sink always fly open. Just wondering if others have experienced this and what they have done to ensure the drawers stay closed during transit? Any recommendations? TIA!

If there are latches on them from the factory, they may have broken on those two drawers. You could look at one that stays closed, and see if there's one on the back of the drawer. Another solution would be to add your own similar to these.

The tension is adjustable, and they're brass, instead of plastic. Just a thought.

A few of us are experiencing this, I think Jayco changed hardware, and it's become a issue. There's no decent latch mechanism, just a cheap friction spring latch.

I've started putting child guard latches on the drawers and doors as they pop open..... it's a real PIA....

I've read of using a yard stick/ruler to slide down thru the handles to keep them closed, or maybe a bungee cord.

The "locks" on ours just needed adjusting. The male end on the drawer was not fully inserting itself into the female end. Adjusting the female end to be closer to the male end solved this problem for us.

The link below are the best latches fit drawers, never had one come open on its own. Our old Winnebago had them on every draw and I have added some to our Seneca on problem drawers.

Yep I did the same adjustment to a few drawers and never had another issue...

We had one drawer that needed an adjustment as well. I put a screw driver behind the male end and made it a little longer. It stays latched now.
That worked after I tried other adjustments on the non-drawer side that failed to keep the drawer closed while traveling.

Oh my gosh.... There are male and female parts to a drawer. And, to fix one that opens while traveling you adjust female. Will try to figure this out.
