Camping World Service

I had the leveling jack recall installed at the Oakwood Ga. Camping World. All seemed to be ok until yesterday.

When I tried to start my generator it sputtered and shut off. Thinking it was a carb issue I began to do the normal things.
- Buy sea foam
- Buy extra hose
- Purchase unleaded fuel

Once I started to drain the bowl, nothing came out. No gas, nothing.
I live in Ga. and began to think I purchased bad fuel during the pipeline shut down and the filter was clogged.

Doing what my father taught me you check the obvious first.

So trace the fuel line for issues was the first troubleshooting item.

When checking I found Camping World had installed the new pump bracket and pinched off the generator fuel line between the bracket and frame. It is so tight I am amazed it did not cut the line.

Called Camping World and they said they will get back to me!!

I will get this fixed but alert you all if you get this recall installed be sure to check your generator fuel line. (Especially if the work is done at CW in Oakwood, Ga.

I am lucky it did not cause a fire or cause me to spend the $200.00 an hour service charge to have the generator checked out.

Also to add insult to injury, when CW cut off the old bracket they left the raw metal exposed. So a rust spot on the frame.

Will keep you informed as this unfolds....

Very lucky no fire, could have been very bad. I do not trust any shops. Do it myself.
