Canít pump gas

As many of us Jayco C owners know, the gas filler tube design is horrendous. I finally have gotten mine fixed and can run the pump full blast with no issues or weird pump rituals.
Unlike the Jayco bulletin that would have you cut your rig up, I was able to move up my filler tube in the existing box, cut the steel down pipe to allow a greater drop, fasten a new filler tube with inches of drop to allow gas to flow freely. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
If youíre interested in the fix let me know. Happy to provide more details and some pics.

Welcome to the site.
Perhaps you could begin with details like what kind of RV you own, year, etc.

I'm interested. I have a 2021 Redhawk 31F so it will be exactly the same procedure.

Hi Ann-Marie.
Looks like the ol wood block and twist handle trick. I’m so sorry that is such a pain for you, we know your pain!!
I’ve put it back up in storage but I’m going to grab a couple things out this weekend and take some pics of the repair, and a video. Be back. Thanks!
All in all the repair cost me $650 with a mobile RV Repair guy.
