Question Canadian standards

the 2016 greyhawk 29me I am considering buying is built to Canadian Standards. How does that differ with US standards and is it a problem as far as part numbers, appliances etc. Thanks all.

I asked our dealer about it when we were looking at our 5'er. He said that they were all built pretty much to Canadian standards, it just cost $200 to get that Maple leaf put on the unit. Don't know if true or not, just passing it on.

Our dealer said that Canadian standard has pipes that use a thicker PVC/ABS.

Like previous poster, not sure if that's true or not...

My dealer said it was just slight differences in electrical, plumbing and propane lines that our Canadian CSA rules have vs. UL in the USA.

Found this posting on another trailer website (popupportal.com) dated back in 2010.

QUOTE
"The Canadian standards option is only for units sold in Canada. I made an enquiry of Jayco and received the following reply noting 4 items. 1. plumbing drain lines made of different type of plastic and use a different type of glue (yellow verses black), 2. extra ground wire on power bathroom vent and on range hood, ground wire used in ROMEX (120 volt wiring) is a gauge lighter on CSA units and 4. wire looms and propane lines may be routed differently."
