Car Dolly

First trip coming up with a car dolly I just purchased yesterday. Bought a 2 year old American Car Dolly. Seems to be well made, fairly heavy duty with electric brakes. Pulling a fwd Mazda cx-5 without a locking steering wheel. I've been looking on youtube how to pull safely with one. Is it correct that you tow the vehicle in Park and tie off the wheel with the front seat belt. I've seen conflicting videos.

Follow the manufacturers recommendation. https://americandolly.com/user-information/

Bottom line, pan swivels so if you do not have locking steering you want to keep the steering wheels straight. I don't see how the seatbelt does what the manufacturer suggests. Do you?
