Cat scales app
In case you didn't know CAT Scales has an App. You download the app and enter a payment source, I used Paypal. I was at a Love's this weekend and they had a CAT Scale. I pulled up the app and it knew where I was. I pulled onto the scale with my motorhome and toad. There is a 4 digit code on the CAT Scale intercom. I put in the code and in a few seconds the weights were given to me in the app and it emailed me a copy of the weight ticket (pdf), $11.50. Pretty easy.

In the case of preforming a complete TV/TT combination CAT weigh-in it takes three (3) separate passes across the scale platforms (TV only, TV/TT w/WDH engaged, TV/TT w/WDH dis-engaged).
The CAT scale attendant will charge a reduced rate of only $2 for each additional re-weigh pass (within 24 hours)..., will the App also apply these reduced re-weigh prices?

It has for us with ONE re-weigh... I can not speak to more than one re-weigh.

Same here. I got the cheaper re-weigh.

Do they let you unhook your trailer in the lot?

Yes, just keep clear of truck/auto traffic and the CAT scale. I've dropped my TT where the trucks park.

As Bob mentions... yes - just back into one of the truck parking spaces and go and re-weigh. When you re-weigh just the tow vehicle, make sure to separate your axles on different plates so you know your individual axle weights.
