I see you got some info over in another thread in the travel trailer forum. It should be helpful for your class C also.

Good luck finding one for a class C. I have called every manufacturer I could find and so far no one makes one for my 23 Odyssey.

My experience with electric locks is not with RV's but rental properties at the request of the tenants. Mostly for the cool factor of being able to remotely 'see' them and operate them. I removed them after a short stint. They are battery operated and eat batteries at the speed of light. 6 AA batteries. Three different brands. Kwikset to Defiant. In a nutshell, they didn't solve problems, they created their own. Keys don't have those issues. Good luck.

Interesting - what's different about the Odyssey line? I'd have guessed that the lock needs to match the door / door frame. And I'd have guessed that Jayco wouldn't want to spend the extra $$ to carry extra doors/frames...

I replaced the keyless/electric lock in our Greyhawk with a keyed lock. If it wasn't eating batteries, it was forgetting it's own code. We could unlock the Bauer lock about 50% of the time.

I've used the Schlage electronic lock for home where you have to manually turn the knob to unlock. One 9V battery lasts 5 years at least. It can't be remotely unlocked, though.

I would like something similar for the RV. If nothing, maybe I can utilize one by cutting the door?
