Changing furniture

We have a 2017 29MV. We are changing out the horrible jackknife sofa/loveseat with a new loveseat recliner from Leon’s.Has anyone done this. any tips? Ours is the model with the couch in the slide right behind the drivers seat.
Thanks

We've got the Recpro color swatches coming. Then our 62" horrible jackknife is going out and two Recpro recliners are going in.

After that, the dinette is next on the to-do list to trash and re-do

I too would like a better jackknife. Is there one out there? Or only good recliners?

Also what have you done with your seatbelts?

Check out RecPro for your jackknife sofa. My RecPro recliners have the capability or running the seat belts between the base and back cushions. I elect to leave them under the recliners on the floor and not use them. It is just me, the wife and the dog, and when underway she always sits in the passenger seat, and not in the coach area. It is so much safer that way. Unless you have children or travel with other people, there is no need to route the seat belts into the coach furniture. It is the same with the dining area.

We are changing ours out next week. Looks like the recliners won’t recline because they will hit the the window valance frame? If we move them out far enough they will hang off the platform? How do we fix this?

How do you put them in without them hanging off the platform?

I moved ours forward just enough to clear the window/wall when reclined. Pulled the valances off, didn't like Jayco's sense of style anyway.

I used an addition sheet of 1/2" ply to put on top of the slide, wide / deep enough to be a new platform. Bolted ply to slide using old sofa hardware, bolted new seats to new ply with new hardware.
