Chassis supply constraints

Looks like the sellers market is here to stay for awhile. I just saw where Jayco is stopping production of certain models due to chassis shortages apparently. I copied and pasted what I read about. I would assume this will be affecting all manufacturers and just not Jayco.



FYI...current retail orders will be fulfilled (no more accepted), but the following Jayco Motor Home units will not be produced in MY23 due to chassis supply constraints:

- 25R Redhawk
- 30X Greyhawk
- 30XP Greyhawk Prestige
- 31F Greyhawk Prestige
- 29MVP Greyhawk Prestige
- 26X Alante
- 31V Alante
- 37RB Seneca
- 37TS Seneca
For those wanting the 25R, that floor plan will still be available in the Entegra Odyssey line-up.

Well the prestige models are supposed to be related to a shortage on the overhead window those come with apparently. The rest very well could be the chip shortage and probably is.

It will be interesting to see if other manufacturers decide to do the same. My guess is they will.

I saw ^that^ 2 days ago. That 31V and 26X said Dealer Stock only.

Asked our dealer about it and he said yes, some models are only making what they already had orders for.

He told us in August that Jayco was prioritizing sold units first so we committed back then.

He gave me a VIN yesterday so at least we have a chassis. I searched the chassis and it come back 2021 F53
