Check your battery cables

In my 2016 Greyhawk 29MV the single 12 volt Group 27 battery is mounted in a slide-out tray. To enable the tray to pull out, there is a loop in the battery cables. This loop is supposed to collect into the area behind the battery when the battery is slid back into its storage position.

Problem is, Jayco mounted a circuit breaker and the battery shutoff solenoid in the same area that the cable loop occupies, making a tight area even smaller. The insulation on the battery cables is pretty tough, but I found that the insulation of one of my cables has been damaged. It was a matter of time.
