Chip and scratch heartache

After our 6,000 mile summer I am cleaning and detailing the Seneca. I am finding so many new chips and scratches and each one is causing me more pain.

Do we ever get to a point where we accept this is part of the experience or do we suffer with the heartache ? 😖

Yup, you'll get to that point sometime. We can't keep them perfect forever, as hard as we try. We still fuss over them, just not as much as when they were new.

We all go through this when we get something new. I tend to worry until I put the first big dent or scratch in it, get mad at myself for messing it up, and then actually enjoy it more when I no longer care.

Maybe it would be better if stuff came with the option of factory dents, just to get it out of the way. Lol.

I paid for the right to put in first ding or scratch. .usually deliberately do it first thing then I don't have to wait for it!
