Just like any gated community, they set the specs to a standard that the occupants know will be required of all owners/visitors. Is there a certain snob factor?? For sure!! My class A buddy bought a site in a gated Class A Motorhome resort in Fla. Only Class A motorhomes [not over 10 years old] The sites [lots] average around $140,000 plus condo style monthly fees for common grounds. It is an owner only resort but I suspect a non owner Class A only resort attracts the same crowd. 50% of the units in my buddy's place are million $$ Primo MH's. Personally I am not attracted to that kind of a resort and my TT is not welcome either. O well my home is not in a gated community so I don't feel left out when I pass that kind of a "resort".

I, for one, am proud to be a stinkin' low life class C riff raff!

Come to think of it, I don't think that I even have a Tuxedo for class A dinners at the club house....

I suspect that even the Class A dogs have to be pure bred!

One of the local Tv stations (here in FL) did a short show on these places... Gated entrance, some had hot tubs for each site, large outside kitchens, stocked outside fridges, wine, they washed the RV when you arrived, while you sat in the lounge having a drink and ordure's (sp? since I do not frequent these spots), parked it in the spot for you, hooked everything up, some spots go for $500 a night.. evening entertainment (not sure what that consisted of) and they emptied all your tanks, and put your things away for you when you left (something like I do for DW).

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.
