Class C delivery....finally!

Hey all,
Finally took delivery of our 2021 Entegra Esteem on April 23rd. We ordered the coach in October and after several delays, we’re notified a couple weeks before delivery that it was due to the dealer on April 15th.
We have started some mods and just finished our second camping trip. We now have 9 days under our belt and another 6 starting this Friday.
I will say that the build quality is impressive (we came to the class c from a Jayco North Point) so far and it is much quieter than we thought it would be. It also drives much better than we thought after reading all the posts about the crappy driving that others have had.
One question I have that I can’t find in the search function is about the Helwig helper springs. Our, like all others, need adjusted down to be closer to the leaf spring pack. For those who have done it, did you lift the coach to unload the springs or leave the weight on them?
Thanks
Marc

To adjust the helper springs just leave weight on them. Go get if you do not already own one, a ratcheting box wrench. Makes the adjustment way!! Faster I bought just the one wrench from Lowe’s for Round $25. Well worth it. enjoy your RV. We love ours

Enjoy the journey

That's a great looking coach. I have the 30z, and I concur, it drives way better than I expected. After reading this forum for a year, I expected to fight to keep the rig centered in the lane. Yes it takes more work than a car, and gets pushed around a little but definitely not a white knuckle drive. I added a thicker front sway bar and will add a steering stabilizer at some point to tighten up the ride. And my wife commented on how quiet it is, we can have a normal conversation.

Good looking coach. Can’t help with the spring adjustment as ours is in the lineup to be built. Good to hear that you enjoy the drivability.

Leave the weight on it. As was mentioned, a ratcheting box end wrench makes the job much easier.

Congrats! We just got ours as well. You didn’t happen to get it in Georgia did you? There was your exact camper slated for delivery three days after I left with mine and the delivery bay. The blue and aluminum wheels is a little unique is why I ask.

When I saw the blue in person I almost had instant regret. It’s gorgeous!

Any modification plans? Just started tearing into mine a little bit.

Hey Savage sea,
Thanks,
. We took delivery in Nashville. What color did you guys choose?
We have tightened up the Helwig springs, added screen door bar and cable to keep the door from over extending, baskets in the pantry, door clip for the generator door, bug screens on the cooler vents, on demand water heater and the furnace, hung a key hook/place for notes, throw rugs, hung pictures and clock, put eternabond tape on all the roof seams, max air cover on the bath vent, raised the towel rack in the bathroom, took out the bar over the shower and added a soring loaded rod to dry towels and swim suits closer to the back of the shower and working on others. Window tint next Wednesday
Having lots of fun!
Marc

Nice work!!!!

We went with sandpiper. About 70% of our camping was out on the sand at the beach here on the island... we will eventually be doing a lift and 4x4 so we figured it was a “beachy” color

So far we did the trauma how water heater, I made a laundry shoot (something our last camper had we loved) did batteries and victron smart shunt. Max fan in bathroom and a whole host of bins and baskets

Soon will be the mentioned 4x4 conversion and solar, lithium with victron multiples

Congrats again! If I see any more pics of your rig I’ll try to not be Jealous of your color!
