So here it is. The OP needs to call the local Jayco dealer and ask. That is the bottom line and end of this as far as I’m concerned. It is either there or it isn’t and he has all the info to check it out.

The OP didn't want a step down. What you are seeing in the photo is a booster cushion that is removed for driving. The floor isn't all one level. If you look at the floorplan on Jayco's site it clearly cuts off at the seats. After driving the plan is to turn the seat, step up into the coach, grab the booster cushion, and sit back down.

https://youtu.be/KWCq5jOmJ9M 5:00 minute mark shows the cushion being deployed.

The OP mentioned two things: chairs that swivel to be on the same level and not a step down. What's unclear as whether that's an "AND" in there.

I too believe that all Redhawks and Greyhawks on the E350/450 platform will have a step down from the house to the cab.

If the Step Down is the deal-breaker, then you have to look elsewhere.

To my knowledge there are not.

Disregard what CAG says about the Jayco Greyhawk.

The cab of the E450 chassis is a small step down from the coach floor. Jaycos that have swivel seats include a booster so that when rotated to the rear you can sit with your thighs somewhat level to the coach floor. Not the most comfortable position but better than sitting with your knees in your chin.

Contact a dealer to confirm. [emoji106]

If you find one it will not have anything, storage or otherwise below the level of the floor.

Only one I am aware of that is advertised is the Newmar Super C and it is running over 600k

Thanks, that clears it up. I looked for a YouTube earlier and could not find one.

At the risk of offending Jayco marketing I'm thinking they want folks to think it's all one level and used a picture that could easily be interpreted as such.

Thank you!

Your responses are very helpful. This will be my first RV purchase so am curious about many things.

This won’t be my last question. Thanks for your patience.

We're on year 5 or 6 and I'm still posting questions!

The 2022 Greyhawk MV29 looks exactly like that photo. It does have a step down (but they provide cushions to put in the seats when swiveled so your knees are not at your chin).

Does anyone know of a modification that can be made to a Jayco 31 Grey Hawk that would allow the driver seat to swivel around to become part of the main unit when not in driving mode.

What year is your Greyhawk? The 2021 should already have it.

Might be the brackets, not necessarily the whole seat mechanism.

Yep. That's exactly like mine and it is a step down. The seats have the boosters in them to raise the level but the floor is still a step down. I can see where you would think that they are on the same level though.

You have choices of either floor level or step down depending on the model. Do yourself a favor and try it before you buy it. When we were shopping we looked at a step down into the cab model. It came with seat cushions to make up the difference. When we tried it, my head was higher (several inches) than the cab ceiling. I'm 5'9".

It was a comfortable seat, attractive, and fit well into the floorplan, but only if you fit.
