Class C Oil Change

Other then the Dealer who is over 50 miles away does anyone know of any stores or chains who will do a oil change on the Ford E450 V8?

In hot climate like Florida would you use a 5w30 oil?

I cannot tell you about who does oil changes near you. That is probably a call around and ask. Start with the dealer and ask them who does them.

Our climate is about as hot as you can get and I use what the manual calls for. 5W30. Check your manual. If it calls for something else in your climate, use that.

Any quick lube should be able to handle it. As far as weight oil just follow the manufacture recommends in your manual or should be marked on the oil cap. I would certainly use full synthetic

Most places like Iffy Lube and accomodate Class C MHs.

I change my own oil and would suggest you do it also. There are many videos on YouTube that show in detail how to do it. The tools and oil/filter would cost less than what a dealer would charge. The oil weight should be on the oil cap on the engine. You never know just how someone else would change the oil or what they would put in or damage but doing it yourself you would always know.

I would love to do my oil changes but I have a disability that prevents me from getting down underneath the cab to evacuate the old oil and change the filter.

The folks at Walmart were easy to work with and I was able to monitor the work from the overlook area. No bait and switch with the Mobil One synthetic 5w 30.
