has anyone left their unit plugged in to shore power for the winter storage months to keep the coach and chassis batteries charged

Ours is always plugged in except for when motoring down the road.

I just have a 2 battery tenders plugged in vs the coach shore line. It won't charge my chassis battery if I do so I don't waste the effort

thanks, are you sure your unit did not come with CHARGE WIZARD. it will maintain both coach and chassis batt.

Yep...I've had my coach shore line plugged in and had a dead battery so I just went with trickle chargers on both batteries and no issues

Did too.. for 40 yrs. TT's, FW's and MH''s they were always at the house and plugged in.

There may be a battery isolation manager (BIM) device that should connect the battery systems when one side is charging and the other side is low. In the case of one of the Precision Circuits units, charge transfer takes place when the charging side is 13.3V or more, and the other side is below 12.6V. It also connects the two batteries when the dash switch (emergency start?) is pressed.
