Many RV parks can fill motorhome tanks. Some have mobile service that comes out every week or as needed...some have there own large tank and can fill for you.

I find it much easier than my old fifth wheel. They would not fill those tanks unless removed and those 40# tanks get heavy.

First time with a C as well, do they just charge for what's pumped in your tank since the portable tanks are usually weighed? Can you "top off" for a trip with out buying a whole tank full of propane? Thanks all!

The local gas station and the RV sales both measure the liquid propane pumped into the tank.

You can buy as much propane as you want just like other fuels.

Whomever is pumping it will know how much to put in.. yes it's not "full" but about 80%. New pumps stop automatically when "full". Not an issue.. you pay for only the gallons you actually take.
