Cleaning ceiling vents

Newbie question: do I need to take the ceiling vents down and clean them? Is there a filter up there that needs to be cleaned? If so, how do I remove the vents. I have a 29MVP class C. TIA

If you mean the round vents in the ceiling, then there's no filter behind them. Up to you if you want to clean then, I suspect most of us don't.


There are two intake vents and "filters" on the AC unit in the ceiling. We do take those down and clean them frequently.

I have both intake air vents (2) for the AC and discharge directional vents for the AC.


The intake one have cleanable mesh. The discharge do not.
