Cleaning/Waxing

Well ------- I found that not everything became easier after downsizing from our Monaco.
How do the rest of you Sprinter (24K/L) owners clean/wax the center of your "Cap"? Washing with an extended Brush didn't do a good job of ridding the bugs collected along the way, and Waxing -------- Impossible!
I was unable to reach the center from step ladder placed on either side of the unit, so I "jerry-rigged" a platform.

I do the same with my Seneca, two Little Giant ladders with a Werner scaffold plank in between above my opened hood. Use the same ladder setup on the sides so I can wax a larger horizontal area without moving the ladders as much.

My neighbors just drive slowly past and stare!

I rented some baker's rack scaffolding last fall for when I waxed mine. Prior to waxing, while polishing/correcting it, I only used a ladder and literally almost died (suicide) as it took approximately 30 hours of polishing to remove scratches and swirls in the paint.

Having already had one major hip surgery and expecting another on the opposite side, I was down for about a week all but unable to walk.

Baker's scaffolding on wheels allowed me to do 10' swaths and I was able to do to eye-level on the ground and everything above that on the scaffold. Waxing took about 8 hours, between two days!

Being 6'4" helps. If I remember correctly I was able to get it all from the step in the bumper, ladder and from the roof.
