clearance lights stay on after headlights turned off

I have a 2008 Jayco Melbourne 29D and when I turned off the headlights, the front clearance lights remained on. I disconnected the negative battery post of the truck and the clearance lights still stayed on. When I turn on the headlights, the clearance lights on the front turn off but the rear clearance lights stay on. When I turn off the headlights, the rear clearance lights turn off but the front clearance lights remain on. I have no idea what to do. Any ideas???

Your house wiring has attacked your chassis wiring. Or vice versa...Start looking for crushed wire guides and conduits.

Sounds like a ground issue. You might have lost a ground connection and the coach electrical is back feeding through the marker lights to ground.

I had this happen when I turned on the living room lights the marker lights would come on. Found a ground bar broken loose on the rear frame. Resecured it and no issues for the last two years.
