Get the biggest true deep cycle battery that will physically fit in the space.
Battery group sizes are standard, so measure the space where your battery goes and cross reference to a BCI chart. Start with the biggest battery that will fit, then look at the specs of the various batteries.
For true deep cycle batteries, you'll want pay attention to the AH ratings.
You could also use a dual purpose battery (like a marine battery), but true deep cycle batteries are generally recommended because they can tolerate deep discharges more frequently.
I intend to put an AGM in my unit when I finally get the chance (dealing with a lot of other repairs at the moment). The battery that's in there is on its last leg, so replacement is imminent. We don't boondock often where we're not running the generator, so I currently don't have a need for a dual battery bank.
