Heading south for Christmas any hints on stopping over in sub 30 degrees temperatures I’m leaving Pittsburgh and heading to bowling green ky then further south.
We winter camp all of the time. To keep it simple, I'd suggest: mid 20's and up (for evenings) warming during the day -- don't worry about it. Anything colder, or longer -- just winterize and be worry free.
Hint, don't stopover in sub 30 degree temps
When are you leaving Pittsburgh...are you winterized now? If not at least drain everything. Make sure propane is full to use furnace if needed.

There are lots of threads here about how to do this. Search and read them for full details. Here's a short synopsis:
Leave your camper winterized until south of the freeze line. Drink/cook with bottled water. Use pink antifreeze or windshield washer fluid to flush the toilet. Plan to stop at campgrounds with electric hookup then use an electric space heater to save propane. Run the propane furnace if it's really cold (lower 20s and less). Once south of the freeze line, dewinterize at a full hookup campground and proceed as normal.

What temperatures are you talking about? Sub 30 is too general a term. Forecast high and lows? Do you have a heated water hose? Will you be staying at campgrounds with full hook ups? Lot of advice does not cover every “cold weather” situation.
