Compartment Locks CH751

Has anyone found a good company to go with to get new compartment locks? I would like to change out all the CH751 locks!

Tubular locks like these are popular. I had a site to order them from, but it won't come up. They're available at many places including Amazon eTrailer and EBay to name a few.

These are much better than the cheap locks at Lowe’s.

This is the style I went with. One advantage is that it it rejects your key so you donít forget and leave it in the lock. Disadvantage is that itís a little bulky.

I have those same style as well when I changed mine

Was hilarious, took my Entegra 25r to storage one day, was a brand new, exact duplicate, parked next to mine
Knowing there are only like 4 different key options I immediately checked my Truck key, and House key with theirs... luckily no match.
I ordered the bay keys ASAP

So I'm good now..and yes...I have 20 Xtra keys...lol

I disassembled the cylinders, changed the location of the pins to an identical configuration and took one to a locksmith and had him make a key for it. I think the locksmith charged $10 or so to make the new key.

Took a little time, but doing it that way saved me a few bucks, and made it impossible for a standard CH751 key to open the locks.

They've been very good. They have 1000 key codes for the tubular locks, and if you need additional ones they just match your key code from a previous order. They also made me a set of specially cut cams so that I could have all of the locks operate from the same position in the same direction even though the door positions were different.

While so many RV's use the CH751 lock and key, I have never had nor have I known any RV'r have someone use their CH751 key to explore and steal from the storage bays of other RV's. While that could happen, I suspect even the CH751 locks will keep away non-rv'rs unless the thieves were very determined, in which case I doubt even an improved lock would stop them as I suspect that most storage compartments can still be opened with a strong screwdriver. ~CA

I replaced all my locks. The main front door is also battery keyed if I want to use it that way

I too used (I believe) https://www.rvlocksandmore.com/ several years ago.
All baggage, outside kitchen, and entry door are keyed alike- including the deadbolt.
