Ah..yes! Great info for all! Rv park by Mesa Verde NP. Was there when i was a newbie and went to dump black water only to find out their system was FULL! Not a pretty sight! So now, always pull the grey water first to test connection and wet inside of hose.

Get one of these. They come is all types of lengths and angles. This helps to see what is going on while your dumping.

I attach this to the Rv hookup then attach the hose to this. It just goes inline with the hose.

When doing dumps or flushing tanks you can see what is coming out and when finished. A must have!

Same here. I actually connect to water with a splitter on my regulator and attach both my hoses, white for drinking water and orange for flushing. And then we just close the fresh water valve when doing what is described above.

Good question by the way.

It does just pull out the screen over the opening and you will see the check valve.

Water Flow Meter

Hey Guys, try the water flow meter available on Amazon for < $20. It goes in-line with your hose and is accurate enough. No more guessing about how much water you are putting in your tanks.

Absolutely! We keep ours connected to the hose always, in use and in bumper storage. View makes for great entertainment and assures a well-dumped and cleaned tank.
