Noticed a slight vibration in the steering wheel checked the front tires and notice the outside cupping on both tires with 17k miles. I have a 2018 Grayhawk 29MVP on an F450 chassis, normally this would lead me to shocks but with only 17K miles i think I should look elsewhere.
If you rotate your tires every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, you can really help prevent the cupping! If the cupping is more on the edges, you have an alignment problem also!
The article that JFlightRisk linked to is a good one. It brought out something I had forgotten; namely tire and wheel out of balance or wheel out of round. Since you noticed a vibration, I'd start there first. Get the front tires checked for balance. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you have a wheel out of round. It happens. I had it happen on my car once. From the factory.
