Dampness in storage boxes

Just brought the Odyssey home for the weekend to putz with it. Two weeks ago we did about 800 miles coming back home in the rain. Went to get some stuff out below, and found that the boxes on both sides were damp. (I carpeted them all to keep things from banging around and they were all damp). Note sure if this was due to the full night of rain the night before as well as the drive home, but I was surprised nonetheless.

Also noticed a bit of water seepage when we took a shower. Not terrible but definitely enough to notice.

Anyone else have this happen? It's my first RV, so not sure what to expect, but I thought the boxes should've stayed dry.

Thanks in advance.

Ga Bob, if all the boxes are wet then I would guess itís from the high humidity we are having.
If itís the boxes behind the front or rear wheels it could be water coming off the tires as you drive. We had that in a previous class A Bus that we had. Needed to seal the edges with clear silicone to prevent leakage.
Itís most likely humidity. Jimmyd
