Dashboard Lights

We have a 2016 Greyhawk 29MV and I’m curious about the dashboard lights. Can anyone tell me if they should be on while running in daylight hours? If I don’t turn on the parking lights I can’t read the gauges due to the sunlight. All our other vehicles have lighted dash’s when you start the engine. Thanks in advance. Jimmyd

Same Issue with our 2016 31DS, I added a heads up display screen ,
It plugs into OBD system
Think it was $30.00 0n EBay.
Very poor design on standard dash in regards to Glare.

2019 29MV same problem.... can't really see the gauges in the dash unless you run the headlights. Maybe they do that on purpose?
