Daytime running lights on 2017 E450 chassis

My local Ford truck dealer says that our 2017 E450 with 6.8L Triton / V10 power does not have daytime running lights (headlight on at reduced power when vehicle being operated). The Ford E series manual seems to suggest that it does. Of course, I can just turn on the headlights, but it seems to me that a 2017 American vehicle would have the daytime running lights safety feature. What say all of you?

Ours does, but, remember that's only the headlights and you have to turn the light switch on to get tail lights etc.
