OK...finally shoveled a path to the RV. Nothing new, except i took a couple pics of the wiring nightmare under the bed. I did find two more lights under the cabinets above the table. So everything on that one circuit is dead. Not sure where to find a good ground to check to see if I have continuity between grounds. one of the pictures shows a large black wire bundle that I am hoping comes from the frame...looking for advice on this!!

Cant figure out how to post Pictures...dang it

Gonna try to attach pictures! Thank you all for your help!!!

its a little bit of a pain but you can pick up 20-30'f of wire fairly cheaply. I used a piece off a reel I had. just used an aligator clip and snapped in onto the frame. Then pulled the other and used another clip to secure to my tester. This allowed me to test ground and power supply.

look under the rear end of the coach, they typically pull the wires up and down in the rear cap, then terminate the ground on frame back there. Rustynuts has a few great pictures of what he found and how he corrected it.

Thank you RVermont.. that is exactly what I was fearful of what I may have to do. I am hopeful that the two big black wires that are connected under the bed where all the wiring is, is the main ground coming from the frame. Gotta be something simple, but got me stumped!

Thank you Jayco

Kudos to Jayco, they sent me the entire schematic drawings for my RV. Not sure I can decipher it, but may help trace some wires!

Usually there is an inline fuse right at the water pump. Its the first fuse to blow when lines freeze.

Thank you MIA389

Something to check but I am sure that freezing is not my problem, doesnt mean that fuse couldnt have blown. Off hand do you know if that would affect the entire circuit should that fuse blow? Getting to my WP is really a pain, I do believe I have to remove the Hot water tank to get to it.

Thank you

No, It would only effect the water pump if fuse was blown at water pump.

What items do you have that are not working on 12v?

Im sorry, I missed this part "Monitor, Kitchen area, water pump."

You have a fuse that has this label next to it on the converter.

Lets say #4 in this picture says "monitor,Kitchen area, water pump.

Find the wire at #4. This one is black. Most are. See if you have power there. (think you already did this). If so follow the wire out the back. Sometimes on back they are numberd in the bundle. If not trace the wire through.

This is the back of converter. I pulled the converter out here to get access. You woulldnt need to do this as you can see everything under your bed.

In this pictures, This is where the circuit hooks up to converter. The black wire connects to the red wire. The red wire gets ran though RV to everything on circuit. This is the connection you need to find. Yours might be a bell connector instead.

Find out if your getting power through the connection. Or just cut it off and replace it. You have a 75% chance this is your problem. Most times when I have a whole 12v Circuit down, its this connection!

MIA389: water pump at all swithches, control panel to include water pump switch, Battery level indicator, all tank level LEDS, Also the light above the sink, and the bank of light above the kitchen table. So far thats all I found and that is what is listed on the fuse panel cover for that one fuse.

Got me baffled

Thank you

See all them red wires going to bell connectors. You need to find which one is for your circuit.

They are comming out. There is only one thick wire that feeds bus from battery. If you pull all fuses, all them red wires would be cold.

As you can see in the picture, the hot side of the bus gets powered directly from your 12v battery and also the converter. That is why you can plug an RV in and have 12v power without a battery even installed.

Usually this is a thicker gauge wire comming from the battery. That would be your "IN". All the wires comming out the back through them little holes in your picture are the "out" wires. Each one is a differnt circuit and has a fuse on the front of the converter.
