directv or dish?

My Seneca came with the Directv satellite receiver on top. I like the pay as you go feature Dish offers. I understand I can use Dish with the Direct satellite system by changing the transponder. Have any of you done this, Is it that simple.

Thanks

Just call Wineguard. They’ll give you the numbers to change on the dip switches to get Dish! I can’t remember what they were!

Dish

The dip switch settings are in the owners Manuel and is very easy 5 minute job an we love being able to turn it off if we have trees or campground cable but most importantly is the local channels

Yes it is just that simple....well kinda. You have to go up top and take out 6 screws and remove the dome. Rotate it around until you find the board with the DIP switches on it and set them like the diagram I have attached. Put dome back on and you are done.

The Seneca factory install is the folding dish setup not a dome.
Winegard has part numbers for the conversion and will provide info on how to program the Winegard box inside the motorhome. Not a difficult conversion but will cost approx. $200 for the dish and triple LNBs. I did mine and it works fine

I have the same Seneca as you do 2017 RB and I also have dish network.
As posted all you have to do is change the dip switches and you are good to go.

Thanks Rick, I have the dish that tips up that was installed at the factory. Where are the dip switches?

What was wrong with your floor that Jayco replaced it. What kind of problems did you have with your water heater.
