Dish setup

Hey RVer's,

On our 2016 Seneca HJ, we have the Winegard satellite and had a New Dish
Rep come out to set up Dish for us.

He could not get it started and stated we need to go to the Dealership we bought the Jayco from to check out the TV.

The TV worked perfectly before he added the receiver.

Has anyone had any issues with DISH.

The satellite dish on the roof comes from the factory set up for Direct TV. To change the satellite to Dish you have to take the cover off the satellite dish in the roof and change the dip switches to the position for Dish TV. Get the papers for Wineguard that came with your RV and they show you the settings for the dip switches. I went with Dish last year and we are very pleased with it.

What MNWelsh said. I have attached the manual here so you don’t have to dig yours out . Also make sure that you distribution box is set to Sattellite.
