DIY Shelving for 31FK TV cabinet

I've uploaded six pictures to an album here (http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/me...lbums1133.html)

that shows my attempt to make some extra shelving for that whacky TV cabinet in the 31FK.

Making a template was a real chore for that thing. There are a few expected angles (135*) but everything else is a total out-of-kilter mess. I've trimmed it down so they'll fit in the top, middle and bottom sections.

Left to do - hit the shelf with some durable satin poly as a finish. Then figure out what I'm going to do for adjustable shelf standards. That should be fun -- not.

This is my prototype run. I used cheap Home Depot plywood (tissue thin veneer) and some stain that I had left over that will look fine, as long as the lights are off.

Anyway - if you're curious on how these shelves turn out.
Stay tuned!
