59 k is WAY too high for a 2019. If it were me I would back out of the deal or tell them to lower the cost to 47.5 and throw in the protection and warranty. If not I’d walk and buy the brand new one mentioned above

You will love those jacks! Set up takes 5 minutes. And we love our 26XD
We had a salesman at a CW try to tell us jacks were not needed. Drive on boards, same as you. What a joke!

X2 on the above suggestion/advice! We neglected to "read it carefully" until we needed to have a hidden leak and damaged floor repaired at 2 years 4 months ownership...the extended CDN$2500 didn't cover it...quite clear in the fine print! Never was a fan of extended warranties and certainly not now!

I totally agree with you! The money you would fork out is best put aside for that emergency repair! RV or any dealer takes your money and you get back very little in return. Based on past experiences. My Ram dealer and still no paperwork for the so called extended "Electrical parts warranty?" Be careful!

We purchased a 2020 Jayco Precept in May. I’m not a big warranty guy but having 2 other RV’s I felt to need to purchase one. This is our 3rd rv from this dealer and we have a good relationship, so I trusted him. Apparently I was right when I saw your price. I paid $3500 for a 4 yr. bumper to bumper 0 deduction policy. The woman who did the paperwork commented that we got a better deal then she got. Apparently the dealer has a lot of control on the price of the warranty. Looks like there is a lot of wiggle room.

Warranty
I found warranties from dealers have a HUGE markup! I was pressured into buying an expensive warranty (and financing it) through Camping World. I later found I could cancel it under Florida law. So I did.
My suggestion is to check with Good Sam for a warranty for a year. You'll be covered for the initial period when you don't know what problems you have bought.
I went directly to Good Sam and have the same warranty that Camping World sold me but MUCH less expensive. My advice is to not let the dealer frighten you into buying a hugely marked up warranty through them.
Good luck!

You’ll have to have them inspect it annually to keep the warranty in force. Are you willing and able to do that?

Hell no! Only if they knock another 5K off selling price. I have a 29XK, 2016, bought new. 27K miles on it now. Never had one single issue, not one! Great entry level coach..

Yes! I'm so glad I had time to research and ask questions on here. I ended up buying a 2018 Redhawk 26XD with only 5k miles and leveling jacks and inverter thingy. It's super nice!! I bring it home on Thursday. Thank you! Danielle

I would take one or two of the 60 K quotes in to a local dealer for Jayco a see if they can match the deal. All new Motor homes require many trips for service before it is right and as a new owner it will take more than 2 years to figure out what all is wrong with the unit. Like a house bouncing down the road. All the dealers know the game and they get paid from Jayco for the service. Getting rid of a older new unit makes room for a newer model they can sell.
