I have the Jensen, but it could be similar. The Jensen runs off *both*.

To reset my Jenseb JRV215N - both batteries must be disconnected for 30 seconds. If one battery goes dead, either chassis or house, the Jensen usually locks up.

The Gamin units run off the Coach Batteries in our Seneca.

I have a 2019 Greyhawk 26Y with the new soundstream system. It took me a trip back from the campground before figuring out that if you have the coach main power turned on, the cab speakers won't work. It pumps all the music into the coach and also the outside speakers. So I had the outside speakers going all the way through town, on the interstate, and neighborhood.

When we got home and I was parking it I realized it and told my wife to turn of the back power. As soon as she did, speaking in the cab turned on. Well, I won't forget that one.

I have a 2018 Greyhawk 30XP with the Garmin/Fusion infotainment system and it runs off both. If the house batteries are not on it will run off the engine battery when the ignition is on but if the house batteries are on, it draws power from the house batteries.

We have a 2018 29MV. Garmin pain in the butt.Lets see how it does on our 3 week road trip from CA to Fl. System crash on both trips we have taken. Learned not use USB for cell phone charging, maybe that will solve all the issues.

How did it go?

We just used ours for a 10 day trip and I was extremely impressed, the only issue is side and rear cams at night, they are pretty useless. Wish the rear cam faced further back like my furion did in our Jay flight other then that I love this thing. Warnings are spot on, even caught 2 speed traps etc... I think they fixed a lot of bugs with the updates

I'm guessing the OP has a Ford chassis on his Greyhawk. In my coach (Ford chassis), the Soundstream runs off of the chassis battery/motor when the engine is running, but switches to the coach battery when motor isn't running.
