Driveway level?

Just got my 1st class C. I am parking it on the unit on the side of the house and building 4 cement pads under the tires

Is it best for the RV to be level or is there a need for a slight tilt for rain to drip down on the side for the slide out?

I tilt my TT back slightly but not too much because if you use the frig it's best to keep it within 3-5 deg. And that's enough for water runoff .

When you run your slide out, does it cause your MH to tilt slightly down on the slide side? If so, make your pads level from side to side. When you park your MH on them and run your slide out, the slide side will be slightly down.

We do that with our TT: The trailer is level from side to side until we run the slide out. That way rain on the top of the slide runs to the outside and not up against the slide seal.

Like tunce_the_traveler, we have our TT slightly nose high but, of course, that is set with the tongue jack.

Your coach needs to be somewhat level if you are going to leave the frig running .....

Continuation of jchiar's questions on level driveway. Is the refridge the only reason to level my Class C 30GS? I leveled it last winter (my first) and it was quite a project since I have a 18 inch difference front to back. Last winter we did not use it but this winter we am planning a couple trips and I was planning on not leveling it - it would be much less work to just drive it away. Thanks

I forgot to mention I have slide out toppers so maybe i don't have to worry about rain on top of the slide out?

i have a automatic leveling system too so i could tilt the slide out side down with the keypad, so maybe Ill make the driveway pads level.

AFAIK - the 'fridge is the only reason to level out the coach and that's if the fridge is *running*. We turn everything off in the winter. Slides in, shades down, jacks up, fridge doors open, power off, etc.

I have auto level on my 5th wheel. I push auto level and leave it . so if it was me .I would make the pads level.
